Friday 1st April (and it's not a joke) Mimì Colonna, together with his staff, will participate in the event of the ACTO (alliance against ovarian cancer), an evening dedicated to fashion and beauty, with models and testimonials who first have fought and conquered the disease. The entire proceeds will be donated for psychological support activities to the patients of the Oncological Gynecology outpatient clinic of the Bari Polyclinic (video spot acto).

Your help is essential to find a cure for the most aggressive and least known female cancer.

The ovarian cancer it can affect any woman in any age group, unfortunately it is not easy to diagnose because there are still no efficient screening, the only way is continue the search and do not underestimate the symptoms of a possible disease.

This is why research is one of the stimuli and tools that makes us present at every event to promote and raise awareness, because as Mimì says: , for this we participate further in the project "BANCA DEI CAPELLI" (follow the link), to be able to donate even a single strand of our hair (minimum length 25cm and uniform color) with which to contribute to the creation of a personalized wig for one of the many sick people who request it, testimonial of the campaign is Maria Selena Filippo (Miss Puglia 2013).
